Inspired by the natural beauty and abundant waterways of the La Crosse Mississippi River valley where he grew up, Big River owner-operator Ryan Nordstrom set out to catalyze synergy between his passions - conservation and hunting - by crafting his own hand loaded hunting ammunition. Big River is focused on precision hunting loads designed to hit their targets with maximum effectiveness, consistent reliability and clean, ethical results.

Nordstrom, a La Crosse native, is an avid hunter and steward of the outdoors as well as a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. His faithful canine hunting partner, Ruff, accompanies Nordstrom on his many hunting adventures throughout the year.
